Prepare System for New Update (SnipTV)
Please follow the steps below carefully.
Important: This process will erase your Favorites.
Step 1 – Erase Old Configuration
1. From the Home Screen, open the Command Center
(Select the ⚙️ gear icon in the top-right corner.)
NOTE: The System Info widget is on the second page of the Command Center.
2. Select System Info and press OK.
3. Scroll down to “Check for configuration update.”
4. Highlight that line and press the 0 (Zero) key on your remote 10 times.
5. When prompted, select “Erase and Reset.”
This will delete all user data, including Favorites.
6. The device will restart several times.
Step 2 – Apply New Configuration
1. After the system restarts to the Home Screen, open the Command Center again (⚙️
gear icon).
2. Go to System Info.
3. Scroll to “Build Date.”
4. Highlight it and press:
R G Y B (Red, Green, Yellow, Blue buttons on your remote)
5. Enter the Configuration Code:
sniptv (all lowercase)
6. Uncheck “Initial Setup”, then select Apply and Restart.
7. Select OK to erase and continue.
8. The system will restart.
9. When prompted, select ACCEPT.
Step 3 – Log Back Into SnipTV
You will now see:
SnipTV 1 – SnipTV 5
1. Have your User ID and Password ready.
2. Select SnipTV 1.
3. Enter your credentials.
4. Repeat for SnipTV 2 through SnipTV 5 if applicable.
